Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced accountant to cover a defined set of recurring close, reconciliation, and reporting responsibilities during a planned leave.
This is a hands-on maintenance role, not a build role. The priority is keeping recurring monthly and quarterly deliverables on schedule and on time, with clean documentation and clear hand back at the end of the engagement. Detailed SOPs and a live handoff period with the incumbent will be provided.
Responsibilities:
All subsidiaries' monthly journal entries and reconciliations — cash, balance sheet, and revenue — including management and service fees, insurance allocations, priority return, and member loan interest. Intercompany and elimination journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly settlements. Debt accounting: interest accruals, principal and interest activity, amortization of debt discounts and issuance costs, and reconciliation of loan balances and payment activity to lender statements.
Member equity accounting and distributions: capital contributions and distributions, waterfall calculations, allocation of income and loss, and capital account roll forwards. SREC accounting: monthly estimated SREC revenue, and quarterly billing and reconciliation. Monthly rent billing and approval routing, and response to landlord and property ownership inquiries. Monthly servicer reports. Cash monitoring, intercompany transfers, and wire request preparation. Quarterly subsidiary and joint venture financial statements, due 45 days after quarter end, and distribution to investors and lenders.
