This is a 9 month position,.40 FTE part time, Tuesday and Thursday, 8hrs day, 16 hrs wk. Includes half benefits and begins August 17, 2026.

Summary:
Responsible for maintaining real-world learning records database and student files. Responsible for maintaining student real-world learning and internship attendance records. Duties include providing administrative/secretarial support to designated staff; supporting the development of real-world learning mentor connections; screening and directing phone calls; responding to inquiries and requests; assisting with events/projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain real-world learning records database and student files, including, but not limited to, inputting and updating student information, attendance documentation, withdrawing students, preparing internship packets and maintaining accurate lists. Retrieve information from the database for required or requested reports, class lists, student directories, transcripts, etc.
- Support student internship process and placement. Coordinate real-world learning and internship information with parents, administration, mentors and counselors as appropriate.
- Provide administrative/secretarial support to designated staff. Assist in preparing and distributing correspondence, letters, documents, minutes, reports, charts related to school and district functions. Initiate actions based on verbal instruction or independently from knowledge of situation or project. Assist in coordinating/facilitating school/district events and projects as requested by the supervisor.
- Greet, welcome and assist all staff, students, parents, volunteers, and community members to the school. Answer phones, provide information, take and deliver messages and direct callers to appropriate individuals. Assist visitors, answer inquiries, provide information and direct to appropriate school areas. Diffuse conflicts and/or difficult situations as needed in the school office. Monitor students sent to the school office for disciplinary reasons.
May assist with monitoring students on lunch or daytime breaks. - Monitor building visitors, visitor sign-in procedures, student sign-in and sign-out procedures and building activities including crisis situations such as building evacuations, lockdowns, emergency situations and safety procedures. May initiate crisis procedures in the administrator's absence with direction from appropriate officials.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including providing back-up coverage to other positions, assisting students in the health clinic and contacting parents/guardians as necessary. Clinic duties may include assisting students with minor injuries and illnesses, dispensing authorized medication, contacting parents or emergency medical personnel if needed and keeping accurate records of care given.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience is preferred but may not be necessary for hiring.
- Criminal background check required for hire.
- CPR and First Aid training preferred at hire; required one month after hire. Meds administration required one month after hire.
