Overview
Full Time in Durango - CO. We are looking for a fun, outgoing, hardworking person to join an award winning State Farm agent team. You need not be experienced; we are willing to train the right person. If you have a positive attitude, a desire to grow and become your best, and earn a livable wage, this could be a fit for you.
The goal of the agency is to grow the business and ensure excellent customer service along the way. We do this by getting to know our customers and reviewing their personal situation and needs. During the reviews, we uncover their risks and what s important to them. We put policies into place that protect the things that they care about the most with insurance and financial products.
We also assist customers with reviewing their accounts, updating coverages, and assisting in the claims process.
Compensation is salary plus commissions and there is no cap on income opportunity. There is also room for advancement. Benefits include 401(k) matching, competitive salary, and paid time off.
State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm. Agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
Responsibilities- Manage incoming calls and walk ins
- Generate sales leads
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
