General
Purpose:
The Outdoor Guest Services
- Parking Enforcement seeks to provide guest service in the main outdoor areas of the resort by ensuring all parking regulations are followed resort wide. They will be responsible for patrolling all parking lots, roads, and public spaces to identify any parking violations, and issue warnings and boot cars as necessary. They will be the sole contact for guests when they have received a citation or boot, and will ensure payment is collected for any violations.
Additionally, they will assist in any plowing and snow removal needed in the parking lot areas. We are looking for people committed to providing a stellar guest experience, who are not afraid to embrace change, who love the mountains and strive to Give People the Freedom to Ski!
This is a seasonal position from 11/16/26 to 4/30/27. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:- Patrol parking lots, roads, and public areas to check for parking violations.
- Place warnings and boots on vehicles as necessary.
- Ensure payment has been received from any guests who receive a booting violation before removal.
- Communicate potential parking violations to guests in real time.
- Report any existing or potential safety hazard to the supervisor immediately.
- Monitoring parking signs, placement, movement, or removal of traffic barriers.
- Jump-start vehicles and help vehicles get unstuck.
- Remove snow from parking areas as needed.
- Clean work areas, company vehicles.
- Help the general public.
- All other duties assigned.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Knowledge of resort procedures, policies, and safety protocols.
- Ability to monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and complete incident reports accurately.
- Ability to drive safely in all weather conditions.
- Knowledge of snow and ice removal techniques.
No formal education is required. Must have a reliable phone for onsite communication. Must possess an open mind and willingness to adapt. Previous guest service experience strongly preferred. Previous Ski Resort experience is preferred but not required. Must have a valid CO drivers license and pass a Motor Vehicle Report. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Working Environment/PhysicalActivities:
The vast majority of the day is spent driving in constantly changing winter weather conditions. 60% of the day is spent sitting in a car, 40% of the day is spent walking. Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds, with occasional carrying of objects up to 50 pounds. Exposure to dust, car exhaust fumes, odors, and gasses. Occasional exposure to noise levels ranging from 75 to 100 decibels.
Occasional exposure to mechanical and electrical hazards. This is a non skiing position.
