Position Summary
The Grub Hub Operations Coordinator is the core steward of the resource center’s mission, responsible for developing and evaluating basic needs programs, managing student staff and volunteers, coordinating campus-wide initiatives, and building strategic partnerships to advance a basic needs secure campus.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and evaluate basic needs programs and activities in collaboration with professional staff, faculty, and students.
- Coordinate and facilitate campus‑wide student well‑being initiatives, trainings, and workshops.
- Schedule and communicate information about upcoming classes, trainings, and workshops to campus community members.
- Research and implement best practices for basic needs, including personal/professional development and institutional metrics.
- Collaborate with off‑campus partners and on‑campus resources to enhance programs and services.
- Support student staff in developing interpersonal and professional skills; design and facilitate monthly meetings.
- Manage social media and event communications to promote outreach tools and event presence.
- Align staff efforts and projects with stated values and goals.
- Convene a student advisory board quarterly to reflect student needs and desires.
- Develop and manage the annual budget; craft reports to demonstrate resource flow.
- Secure funding through grants, donations, and partnerships; actively seek diverse funding opportunities.
- Represent Grub Hub and student interests in community spaces and coalitions.
- Use shared measurement systems to evaluate and track progress; share results in an annual report.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of digital accessibility standards; produce and remediate accessible materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field, or four years of equivalent experience.
- At least one year of experience providing support services in food equity, social justice, trauma‑informed care, or advocacy.
- Proven success in budget management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate community members, students, and donors.
- Track record of leading and developing high‑performance programs and teams.
- Strong ability to develop and manage partnerships with community organizations, businesses, government agencies, and donors.
- Proficiency in data analysis and evaluation to monitor progress and recommend improvements.
- Ability to streamline internal operations and manage multiple initiatives.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects and schedules.
- Collaborative, shared‑ownership mindset; adaptable to ambiguous environments.
- Willingness to go beyond formal responsibilities to support resource center staff and patrons.
Salary range: $49,000 to $51,500 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Exempt, full‑time, 1.0 FTE (Monday‑Friday, 40 hours/week).
