This summer, our Durango program will be moving into a brand new, state-of-the-art child care facility, designed with top-notch early learning spaces as well as modern safety and security features to support quality early childhood education, collaboration, and care. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our team during an exciting season of growing and shaping a fresh learning environment for children, families, and staff.

The Early Childhood Substitute supports Preschool and Toddler classrooms when regular teaching staff is absent. This position helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment by assisting with daily routines, classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and child guidance. Substitutes may also serve as classroom Floats and provide support wherever needed to ensure continuity of care for children and smooth daily program operations.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with young children, is flexible, dependable, and wants to make a meaningful difference in an early childhood setting.

Schedule:

Varies and as needed Monday
- Friday, 7:15 - 3:15 Pay Range: $17.05 - $18.55 per hour, depending on education and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in early childhood education preferred
• Background checks are required for hire

4 sick days, plus 1 hour sick time accrued for every 30 hours worked
