Durango School District 9-R is accepting applications for a Licensed Special Education Teacher in the Affective Education program at Escalante Middle School for the 2026/2027 school year.
The AE program supports social-emotional learning alongside standards-aligned instruction, with emphasis on students identified with Serious Emotional Disability or Other Health Impairment. A $1,800 one-time bonus is offered for the 26/27 SY, prorated if starting late. Housing options are available for staff.
