Durango School District 9-R is seeking a Licensed Special Education Teacher for Animas Valley Elementary. This .5 FTE position runs 20 hours per week for the 2026/2027 school year. You will develop IEPs, align curriculum, and collaborate with general education staff to support diverse learners.
Must meet CDE and ESSA in-field requirements by the start date. Typical work year is 10 months; includes a $900 one-time FTE pro-rated bonus for the 26/27 SY.
