The Onboard Audio Technician is in charge operating the sound for performances. They start-up and monitor pre-show music, actor microphones, and all aspects of the onboard sound for the performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operate soundboard and cues for entire performance, including before, during, and after each performance.
- Assists with pre-show sound checks
- Ensures actors are correctly mic’d and runs mic check with actors
- Technical Theatre experience preferred but not required
- QLab experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to travel between moving train cars
- Will be Required to work in inclement winter weather, as needed
- Will be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays
