• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department to ensure quality nutritional services are provided in accordance with current regulations and facility policies
• Develop and implement menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs while considering personal preferences and dietary restrictions
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines
• Manage dietary staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Monitor food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation to ensure high-quality meals
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, costs, and departmental budgets
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other departments to meet residents’ special dietary needs
• Promote resident satisfaction through positive dining experiences and responsive service

• Previous experience as a Dietary Director or in a similar leadership role in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, menu planning, and nutrition in a healthcare environment
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing quality service
