Coral Shores Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a beautiful, 80‑bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility, which is located in sunny Stuart, Florida. Our professional staff provide high quality, individualized care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each patient’s needs and offer a continuum of mental health and addiction services in a confidential, caring environment that promote crisis resolution, positive self‑awareness, personal growth and problem‑solving.
Coral Shores is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Cleans and services nursing units, patient rooms, baths, bathrooms, and business offices.
- Cleans and mops floors.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Cleans windows and window sills.
- Empties trash baskets and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
- Uses necessary equipment and supplies in proper manner to accomplish job tasks.
- Detects unclean areas and takes necessary action to ensure that the hospital cleaning standards are met.
- Exercises initiative and judgment in maintaining assigned area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Prepares soiled linen for pick up by contract laundry.

- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping work experience preferred.
- Employees must be in good standing (employment/corrective action history, performance evaluations, etc.) to be considered for an internal transfer.
