Location:
Durango, CO 81301. Position Type:
Full Time.
Education Required:
4‑Year Degree. Salary Range: $72,675.20 – $78,811.20. Travel: up to 50%. Shift: Day.
The role of the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing high‑quality clinical supervision to all assigned clinical staff. The supervisor also delivers direct clinical care and collaborates as a member of the program team to design and implement individual care plans for program clients in accordance with policies, rules, regulations, and directives. The supervisor employs a variety of treatment approaches and case coordination to work with a diverse client population and provides expertise for center policy and programming while independently ensuring actions represent the policies, priorities, and values of Axis Health System.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in a recognized mental health profession.
- Licensed or license‑eligible in Colorado (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LAC, CAC III, or PhD).
- Minimum of five (5) years of post‑graduate clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- LAC certification preferred.
Starting pay is $72,675.20 and ranges up to $78,811.20 per year, including a $5,200.00 local differential for the Durango worksite, and considering preferred experience and certification as described above.

Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Frequently required to walk, sit, stand, kneel and occasionally climb or balance and stoop. Must be able to sit for longer periods at a computer. Travel between AHS locations may be required. Possible exposure to communicable diseases. Noise level typical of a moderate work environment. Vision sufficient to read medical records, instruments, documentation, and visual changes in patient condition.
Hearing sufficient to interact with a patient who may be unable to speak at a normal voice level. Mobility and dexterity sufficient to assist patients and handle required instruments. AHS may make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment including scanner, computer, calculator, copy machine, fax, and multi‑line telephone.
- Working knowledge of Windows‑based computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and ability to access the internet.
