Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the operation and management of their assigned Pharmacy and in the assistance in expansion and development of the Axis pharmacy program. The Pharmacy Manager assists in planning, organizing and implementation of Axis Health System’s pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations, 340 B federal regulations and Axis Health System (AXIS) policies, The Colorado State Board of Pharmacy, DEA and any other regulatory and accrediting agencies to maintain compliance and the consideration of mandates of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA).Pharmacy
Manager is a member of the Axis Health Care Team. Under the supervision of the designated Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Manager develops, implements, and oversees a medication management/therapy approach to care, ensures processes meet or exceed regulatory and industry standards and meets requirements of AXIS’ contractual relationships with accountable care organizations and other health insurance entities.
Pharmacy Manager is responsible ensuring best practices are engrained in the culture within Axis Health System (AXIS). This position creates, implements, maintains and reviews policies and procedures to ensure pharmacy staff the organization’s competencies, training, pharmacy operations (design, data, records and reporting) meet or exceed all state and federal standards across all AXIS.The position identifies and provides problem-solving input, in collaboration with other AXIS leadership, ensuring the AXIS pharmacy staff maintains high levels of competency, customer service with a focus on patient experience and health outcomes.
The position is cross-functional that interfaces and works collectively with Quality, Human Resources and Integrated Primary Care, Dental and Behavioral Health in the delivery of the areas of responsibility. This position is also responsible for the management, reporting and delivery of assigned outcomes in the areas of responsibility and special projects. The Pharmacy Manager provides leadership, direction, clinical oversight, individual effort and work products that respond to identified organizational needs.
This position demonstrates and maintains collegial relationships with all staff including clinic staff and management.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate for our Pharmacy Manager position will have the PhD in Pharmacy, will be Licensed in the State of Colorado and have a minimum of one (1) years of Pharmacy Operations, three (3) years Pharmacy Operations preferred.
Salary:$ - $ annualized. Pay range considers preferred experience as described above.
