Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - FULL TIME - DURANGO HEALTH AND REHABILITATION
-DURANGO, CO - ELIGIBLE FOR $1000 RELOCATION INCENTIVE

Salary: $41.00-$52.00 Hourly Range

Full Time-Flexible Schedule

Durango Health and Rehab is a long term care facility offering outpatient services. Caseload can be a mix of subacute, long term care, and outpatient. There are limited ST outpatient services in this area so we are looking to expand our speech services in the larger community through building our outpatient services and we are in the process of purchasing FEES equipment and have 2 FEES certified SLPs.

DHR is an Ensign affiliate building, allowing us to largely function independently but with company supports. This means we are able to make decisions about what works best for us and what is needed in our specific building and community. We encourage continuing education and if there is an unmet need we will cover continuing education to ensure we have strong therapists and patients are receiving the best care possible.

Productivity expectation for evaluating therapists is 82%

Opportunities for career growth include our master clinician program, assistant DOR, outpatient manager with tracks to higher leadership available.

We are committed to annual raises between 1-5%

We currently have 1 FT and 1 PT SLP, 2 PTs, 3 PTAs, 2 OTs, 1 OTA and they are some of the best therapists and people you will ever work with.

Duties:

  • Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
  • Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
  • Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
  • This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels.
  • Willing to consider CF/new grads
