Phlebotomist II
Job Location:
Durango, CO- 81303
Duration: 2+ months of Contract with possibilities of an extension or Temp to Hire
Shift: Mon-Fri (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr on W2
Job Description:
- Min. 1-3 years of professional Phlebotomist experience is required.
- Perform blood draws safely and accurately.
- Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Verify patient information and ensure specimen labels are correct before sending to the lab.
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections when required.
- Follow HIPAA, safety, and quality standards at all times.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and making patients feel comfortable.
- Help maintain smooth daily operations at assigned locations.
- Confident, independent phlebotomist who can work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent patient interaction and specimen collection skills.
- Committed to accuracy, patient safety, and quality standards.
