Job Description:

The ER Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in the Emergency Room, handling a range of situations and diagnoses such as abdominal pain, trauma, and stroke. Nurses are expected to operate within a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5, depending on acuity. The position reports to ER leadership and requires flexibility for floating throughout a designated zone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the ER
• Float within a 60-mile radius as needed
• Conduct Point of Care lab testing

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Ability to interpret telemetry readings
