Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The role requires ED experience with careful monitoring and administration of patient conditions within a trauma-level 3 center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Engage in communication with patients and families regarding care plans
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry
- Competency in Point of Care lab testing
