PT Director of Nursing - DSL Durango

Director of Nursing (Part-Time, 10 - 30 hours per month)

Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing Comfort Keepers nursing program while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and caregiver support. This leadership role is perfect for a nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about senior care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support nursing staff

• Conduct VA assessments

• Conduct client assessments and develop care plans

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company standards

• Provide training, coaching, and performance oversight

• Collaborate with office staff, families, and healthcare partners

• Grow our private duty nursing program by community marketing and relationship building

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (required)

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience in home care, hospice, or senior services a plus
