Salary Range: $12.00 - $16.00 Hourly

Servers at Glacier are responsible for serving food and beverages to Glacier guests and associates in a highly professional, timely, and friendly manner. Ensuring an outstanding guest experience and service is provided.

This announcement is for part-time, seasonal servers. We are hiring for both AM and PM shifts. All servers at Glacier receive service-fee based gratuities above the base pay rates below, as well as potential tips beyond that amount. These positions are eligible for all part-time seasonal benefits mandated by federal and state law, including paid sick leave. Please contact Glacier HR for details.

AM Server - $14.00 and up

PM Server - $12.00 and up

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Greet guests, seat and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

Present and serve fine dining service of both food and beverages to guests, with knowledge of items on all menus

Collaborate with the kitchen staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders

Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, and making change

Ensure dining areas are bussed and reset to Glacier standards properly and timely

Stock, maintain and organize the kitchen, server stations, bar and dining room

Assist team members with other duties as needed such as; bussing and resetting tables, polishing silverware and/or glasses, folding napkins, sweeping and/or cleaning floors, preparing food items, or any other restaurant duties as assigned

Ensure all closing processes are completed and followed at the end of shift

Ability to provide excellent service while problem solving or under pressure

Team player that is always willing to help, while possessing a positive, inclusive and hardworking attitude

Set up dining area and event locations based on party/event sizes, which would include moving a variety of furniture

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Server in the restaurant industry preferred; ability to learn proper food and beverage service skills to Glacier standards required

Knowledge of food service regulations and proper food handling procedures

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

A friendly and energetic personality with a service focus

Great active listening skills

Must be able to multi-task efficiently within a fast-paced and high stress environment

Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
