Our Retail Centers are open 9AM to 9PM Mondays through Saturdays and 9AM to 8PM Sundays. Full‑time positions are available. Open availability is required.
Pay: $17.45 per hour. This position is eligible for Daily Pay—a voluntary benefit that allows employees to access their pay on their own schedule. Full‑time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, long‑term disability, short‑term disability, life and accidental death and dismemberment, flexible spending accounts, and several voluntary supplemental benefits. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty, and bereavement leave.

The Associate II, Retail Generalist has existing knowledge of retail products, merchandising, pricing, and quality inspection. Acting as a backup for all areas within the retail store, the Retail Generalist may perform multiple tasks in different departments on any given day, including donation receiving, material handling, processing hardline and softline goods, working the sales floor, and operating cash registers. The Retail Generalist will work both in a production environment and on the sales floor, interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service with an Attitude of Gratitude in support of the organization’s mission.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Crosstrain in other departments/areas and act as back‑up for other areas as required.
- Work closely with department supervisors to determine which areas are short‑handed with staff or in meeting retail store goals.
- Accept donations from customers, including loading/unloading of product, ensuring that every item is handled with care to show respect to the donor and the item.
- Sort and inspect donated items, making decisions on quality and value, pricing accordingly, and researching value as necessary.
- Use and become certified on pallet jack, walkie stacker, forklift, hand dolly, or other equipment or tools to move and store donated product efficiently.
- Ensure the sales floor is well stocked with product(s) according to retail store policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate cashier transactions and a balanced cash drawer with minimal errors using a computer‑based point‑of‑sales system.
- Assist customers with product questions while providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure the production and sales floor areas are well organized, stocked, and clean to maintain store presentation and shop ability.
- Ensure e‑commerce products are processed accurately and moved to e‑commerce efficiently.
- Rotate/pull old/unsold product(s) from the sales floor to keep the product selection fresh.
- Help create a safe working environment for yourself, customers, and fellow employees.

EducationA High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience- One (1) year of experience in retail, product placement, or merchandising is desired.
- One (1) year of cash handling is preferred.
- High attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
- Ability to adapt to frequently changing work schedules and tasks.
- Ability to obtain certification in all employee positions through completion of on‑the‑job (OJT) documentation.
