Merchandising Sales Associate

The FAST Team Member travels to stores within an assigned district to execute tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as required.
• Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform store specific measurements.
• Perform accurate cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.
• Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  • Greet the Customer.
  • Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
  • Recommend Product Solutions.
  • Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Read, write, and count accurately required.

• Self‑directed with ability to complete assignments with little to no assistance.

• Work environment generally inside with moderate noise.
• Work shifts vary by store, typically no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations in personal vehicle required; often long periods.
• Promote a safe, productive environment and adhere to safety training and guidelines.
• Indoor floors and outdoor lots are hard surfaces; lighting and temperature adequate.

• Travel as required.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Occasionally lift or reach overhead.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment such as computer, cash register.
• Read, write, and count accurately in documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Handle birds/poultry.
• Complete required training.
• Operate equipment needed to run store, e.g., dolly, hand truck, forklift (for
