Irrigation Technician; Seasonal

OVERVIEW

Glacier's Landscaping Department is seeking an experienced residential Irrigation Technician. The role involves managing multiple irrigation systems, including installation, routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting, system adjustments, and system start‑up/winterization procedures with a compressor. The position also includes potential duties such as mowing, fire mitigation, landscape equipment operation, and general landscaping labor as part of the overall landscaping team.

Reporting to the Landscape Manager, Irrigation Techs are expected to work independently and as a team player, ensuring high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

• 2 years of residential irrigation experience (or more)
• Ability to maintain and organize parts and inventories
• Self‑starter able to prioritize and operate with minimal supervision
• Proven problem‑solving skills
• Experience with system clock setting and adjustments
• A clean driving record free from major violations
• Professional client interaction experience and customer service skills
• Knowledge of poly and PVC pipe repair and assembly
• Knowledge of basic sprinkler head, solenoid, and valve repair and replacement
