The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

This is an on-site position. Merced de las Animas is an affordable apartment community in Durango. Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour, dependent on experience. Duties include completing work orders in a timely and accurate manner, cleaning up after work is complete, performing repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical, and cleaning apartments during turnover process, as directed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience, and a valid driver's license. Preferred qualifications include minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work, technical training in one or more building trades, and knowledge and skills in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
