Southwest Appliance is looking for a Delivery Driver/Appliance installer to join our team! As a Delivery Driver/appliance installer, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering household goods to our clients with white glove service. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

• 1 Year delivery driving experience helpful but not required
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicleli>
• Load, unload, unbox, inspect and install household appliances
• Retain data from appliances and import to software, i.e. serial/model numbers
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jack in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record with at least 3 years driving experience
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently and with a team
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
• Must have a basic understanding of tools and their use
