What You’ll Be Doing
  • Operating the King Air 200 as a single‑pilot in air‑ambulance operations.
  • Maintaining readiness at the Durango facility for critical‑care flights averaging 800 miles within the Front Range and surrounding states.
  • Performing thorough pre‑flight inspections and ensuring aircraft airworthiness while complying with FAA and company regulations.
  • Supervising the safe loading of patients, medical crew, equipment, and baggage, ensuring weight and balance standards are met.
  • Coordinating with ground crews and medical teams for efficient communication and mission success.
  • Upholding FAA regulations, Flight for Life procedures, company flight operations manuals, and contributing to Mayo Aviation’s Safety Management System.
