Courier​/Non-DOT

Overview

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Monday and Wednesday 09:00-05:00 (part time)

High School Diploma/GED.

None.

• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lb. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Neat appearance required because of customer contact.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.

Starting pay: $21.05 per hour. Minimum of 21 years of age, consistently lift 50 pounds, High School/GED Diploma, Valid Driver’s License consistently for the past two years. Must successfully complete a Federal Drug screen and background check.

Pay range: $21.05-$31.26 per hour.

Starting salary is based on experience, market level, location, and other job-related factors. The company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement and tuition reimbursement.

Part-time courier:
Monday and Wednesday 09:00 AM-05:00 PM.
