Responsibilities
- You will oversee the work of accountants and accounting clerks in the maintenance and preparation of accounting ledgers, journals, invoices, and financial statements.
- Review account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements for reasonableness and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Oversee the daily monitoring of individual development goals set out for employees.
- Manage scheduling and leave request.
- You will evaluate reports.
- Recommend improvements to training, controls and department procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or 4 years related experience.
- Have a knowledge of GAAP, federal regulations, and organization's procedures as they relate to financial statements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- 3+ years of experience in supervisory role or completed management training.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Four years of accounting experience.
