Quality Control Technician

JOB LOCATION: Durant, OK

JOB SUMMARY: Overland Corporation is a leading heavy civil construction company based in Ardmore, OK, with a strong reputation for quality, safety, and innovation. We specialize in asphalt paving, site development, and infrastructure projects across Oklahoma and North Texas.

• Perform field and laboratory testing of asphalt materials (density, gradation, asphalt content, etc.)
• Collect and prepare samples for analysis
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results
• Communicate findings with project managers and paving crews
• Ensure compliance with DOT and project-specific quality standards
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
• Assist with mix design verification and troubleshooting
• 1+ year of experience in asphalt testing or construction quality control (preferred)
• Familiarity with AASHTO, ASTM, and DOT testing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and overtime as needed.
