SUMMARY
The Children’s Ministry Director provides development and oversight of the Children’s Ministry, developing, training, and coaching a team of volunteers that collectively executes the mission of Fusion Bible Church to partner with families.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Visualizes, plans, directs, and implements multi-faceted children’s programs and curriculum in alignment with Fusion Bible Church’s purpose and values
- Develops policies, goals, and objectives relevant to the Children’s Ministry
- Encourages, equips, empowers, and recruits volunteer teams
- Oversees the Children’s Ministry budget and supplies
- Provides resources for families as we strive to partner with them in discipleship
- Oversees the Preschool Coordinator to accomplish their ministry directives
- Maintain attendance records, databases, and filing systems (digital and/or paper)
- Provides Children’s Ministry support to other Discipleship Ministry areas as needed
- Attends and participates in any All Staff or Departmental Meetings, and contributes to team efforts for major events (Night to Shine, Discover Fusion, etc.)
- Mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Lives an exemplary life based on clear Biblical principles

- Demonstrates a passion for kids, families & volunteers
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Children’s Ministry or education
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of children’s development stages and learning styles
- Ability to follow directions with minimal oversight
- Knowledge of Planning Center and Amazing Life curriculum is a plus
40 hours per week
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYPreschool Coordinator
PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and bend.
WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position operates in a church environment as well as an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and Keurig coffee machines.
