Process Engineer

What You ll Do

• Research, design and develop processes to optimize quality, productivity and workflow
• Develop production routes and define process parameters of cold drawn production operations
• Develop standard operating procedures, document project results and changes, prepare periodic reports
• Lead projects related to product and process industrialization
• Lead data driven assessing of manufacturing processes to improve timing, costs and quality
• Develop best practices and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures and operations
• Define and develop operating instructions and procedures
• Develop data analysis and reports to provide feedback and recommendations to improve
• Drive SMED efforts
• Tooling design and tooling management
• Assist production and train teams in the field of new processes and procedures
• Contribute to the continuous improvement system of the manufacturing facility

• BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
• Experience in Six Sigma implementation, certification preferred
• 2+ years experience as a process engineer preferred
