Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will implement Choctaw Nation’s environmental programs for all tribal facilities, fee and trust lands. You will report to the Environmental Compliance Officer.
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Applicants with demonstrated experience working with federal agencies are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience collaborating with organizations such as the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),
Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and U.S. Forest Service (USFS) is highly desirable. Candidates should have a strong understanding of federal regulations, grant or contract requirements, interagency coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field and three [3] years of related work in the environmental field, ORseven [7] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
- Environmental Certification in a related program (UST, lead based paint, asbestos, mold, safe drinking water, etc.)
- Work independently or in a group and manage priorities independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
