Internship

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts into completed units using hand and power tools
• Work on a production line or at an individual job station
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
• Assist with equipment maintenance, wiring, and cleaning as needed
• Report problems, discrepancies, and failures in materials, tools, or machinery
• Follow all safety protocols and work according to industry standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Education & Experience:

• Currently pursuing a certification or degree beyond high school diploma (all interests welcome)
• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or hands-on mechanical work is a plus but not required

Skills &

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret business documents, technical procedures, and safety regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and teamwork
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Understanding of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to assembly measurements and quality control
• Regularly lift and carry up to 10 lbs., frequently lift up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, and move continuously for up to 8 hours per day
• Work near moving mechanical parts on an active production floor
• Moderate noise levels, with occasional exposure to dust or airborne particles
• Required safety equipment includes gloves, safety glasses, safety-toed shoes, and protective gear
