Travel Med Surg RN
This is a 13-week contract position.
Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM with floating required.
We are seeking a skilled Travel Med Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary medical interventions.
- Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Facilitate patient education and communication with families.
- Document care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg RN experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- PALS certification required within 6 months of start date.
- Current Nursing License (RN) and eligibility to practice in the state required.
