Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Durant, OK | Labor & Delivery

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Provide shift-level nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor & Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and anticipating safe delivery of care for pregnancies over 20 weeks
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff; provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Float to postpartum or nursery as required
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Ability to float to postpartum or nursery
• Must be able to accommodate a non-blocked schedule; blocked schedules cannot be accommodated
• 48-hour guarantee shifts cannot be accommodated

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with a 1:1 or 2:1 patient ratio environment
• Experience in a unit managing antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum care

• Scrubs are provided, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for travel clinicians
• No call required, allowing for a predictable and manageable schedule during your assignment
