Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, floating required.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to labor and delivery patients. The role involves critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and will delegate patient care priorities according to the education and experience of available staff.
- Provide care to patients with pregnancies over 20 weeks.
- Administer labor and delivery care, including antepartum and postpartum phases.
- Float to postpartum or nursery as needed.
- Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting.
- Maintain compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- 3+ years of nursing experience required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
