We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a rewarding 13-week travel nursing assignment in Durant, Oklahoma
. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with strong obstetric nursing experience who is passionate about supporting mothers and newborns in a close-knit, community-focused setting. Durant offers a welcoming atmosphere, a friendly pace, and convenient access to regional amenities and outdoor recreation in southeastern Oklahoma.

In this role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care across the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Labor & Delivery nursing
. You’ll join a team that values strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and patient-centered care in a busy obstetrical nursing environment.

• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Floating: Required to postpartum or nursery
• Call: No call required
• Unit Highlights: 6 LDR rooms with patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1
• EMR: Cerner
• Scrubs: Provided or maroon

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3+ years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Strong experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced obstetrical and maternal-newborn setting
• Comfortable floating to postpartum or nursery as needed
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes in patient condition
• Support safe, evidence-based care throughout the obstetrical continuum
• Assist with immediate newborn assessments and neonatal care as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document care accurately and maintain clinical standards within Cerner
• Float to postpartum or nursery based on unit needs
• Use sound judgment, leadership, and nursing best practices to anticipate patient needs
