Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Durant, Oklahoma

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

• Provide nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor & Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures to deliver safe, patient-centered care
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff; provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Float to postpartum or nursery as needed

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Ability to work nights and float to postpartum or nursery; blocked schedules and 48-hour guarantees cannot be accommodated

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with care of obstetrical patients at 20 weeks gestation and beyond, including labor and antepartum care
• Experience working in a unit with 1:1 or 2:1 patient ratios

• Scrubs are provided, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for the assignment
• No on-call requirements, offering a predictable and structured night shift schedule
