We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality program and ensure our products consistently meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Role Description

The Quality Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Durant, OK. This position oversees all quality assurance activities, including developing and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and documentation for metal fabrication processes. The role involves conducting inspections, audits, and root-cause analyses, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer specifications. The Quality Assurance Manager collaborates closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce defects, and enhance product reliability.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include training team members on quality practices, monitoring performance metrics, and preparing reports for internal and customer review.

Qualifications
  • Experience developing and implementing quality management systems, procedures, and documentation within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of inspection methods for fabricated metal products, including dimensional verification, weld inspection, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Experience leading root-cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Proficiency in analyzing quality data, tracking performance metrics, and utilizing ERP or quality management systems
  • Working knowledge of AWS welding standards, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and customer specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, and management teams.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Five or more years of quality assurance or quality management experience in metal fabrication, structural steel, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
