- Devise, evaluate methods for collecting data, and implement research methods, such as surveys, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, and opinion polls.
- Gather data on market conditions, collaborate with teams inside and outside the organization to gather relevant qualitative and quantitative data.
- Collect and convert complex data and findings into understandable actionable items, reports, and presentations.
- Determine the most effective market research methods to track target audience demographic trends and market demands.
- Conduct market research, analyze results using traditional and modern statistical techniques and software.
- Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective consumer preferences.
- Evaluate program methodology and key data; define and clarify research objectives to ensure methodology delivers desired results.
- Analyze autonomously qualitative and quantitative data, trends, and strategies, especially marketing and communications industry trends.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, statistics, math, market research, related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Ability to understand large amounts of data and information
- Ability to cope with fast-paced work, collaborate well with teams, and demanding deadlines
- Strong communications, analytics, and critical thinking skills
- Strong quantitative background in statistical and data analysis
- Advanced computer skills including higher level functions in Microsoft Excel, such as Pivot Tables, as well as statistical software platforms
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and make recommendations based on statistical reports
- Knowledge of human subject research, confidentiality, and ethical research practices
- Two years’ experience in similar role
