TM Receiver

Overall Job Summary

The TM Receiver is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, handling inbound and outbound freight, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required.

• The TM Receiver performs a combination of the following duties during 95% of their day. The mix may vary by day, but every TM Receiver must be able to perform all duties accurately, efficiently and safely on a regular basis:
• Process inbound and outbound freight.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and adhere to loss prevention standards.
• Recover merchandise.
• Participate in mandatory freight procedures.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Maintain, recover, stock, and tag assigned work areas, including all merchandise displayed outside of the store.
• Operate cash register/computer following company procedures.
• Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience.
• Rotate and dispose of dated products.
• Assemble merchandise.
• Operate forklift.
• Operate Cardboard Baler.
• Sanitize and maintain poultry holding tanks and care for birds as required.
• Complete all documentation associated with any of the above duties.
• Obtain license or certifications as needed.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.

• Basic computer skills/experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.

• Work inside with moderate noise; indoor floors and outdoor lots on hard surfaces.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Adherence to company safety training and guidelines.

• Non-sedentary position requiring frequent movement.
• Ability to operate forklift, lift or reach overhead, push or pull up to 2,000 pounds, move up to 50 pounds, stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as computer, cash register, forklift, and baler (if under 18, forklift and baler requirements do not apply).
• Ability to handle birds/poultry and comply with related safety procedures.
• Ability to complete required training and certification, including propane dispensing if applicable.
• Ability to travel as required.
