Aids in leading the campus Kids Ministry (ages 0‑11) operations by supporting, equipping, and recruiting volunteers. This includes ensuring compliance with the Minor Protection Policy, fostering positive classroom environments, and developing kids volunteers.
Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that VLC has a well‑functioning, excellent Kids Ministry that makes parents feel secure and confident in entrusting their children to its care.
Caring for Kids’ Ministry volunteers, including scheduling, recruiting, and training Kids Ministry volunteers.
Ensuring the Minor Protection Policy is understood and carefully followed by the Kids’ Team.
Ensuring the volunteer experience is positive by monitoring classrooms, addressing issues, and supporting teachers as they minister to the children.
Fill in for the Kids’ Pastor when they are unable to be at a service.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills- [Required] Active follower of Jesus, committed to the culture and values of VLC.
- [Required] Must be an active Victory Life Church member with at least six months of consistent involvement.
- [Required] Experience working with children.
- [Required] Experience leading a team.
- [Preferred] Education/Training in caring for children.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident, able to connect with others easily.
- Basic computer/keyboard or mobile app use for checklists and work orders.
- Able to maintain a steady pace while working with minimal supervision.
- Compensation for this position is $17 per hour.
Sunday 7am‑2pm, Wednesday 10am‑8pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8am‑5pm, flexible to evenings/weekends for events/special situations.
