Job Description

On the Dot Supply Chain Management (Pty) Ltd, a division of Novus Holdings, seeks to appoint 4 diligent Admin Clerks in the Operations Department. This position is based in Durban, KZN. The successful incumbent will report into the Branch Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

(The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role)

1. The main duties include:

  • Entering data accurately into the system.
  • Verifying the accuracy of documents (Invoices, PODs, Collection notes, Claims).
  • Organizing and maintaining documents per cycle.
  • Knowing SAP and SCM.
  • Claims Request – Providing feedback on Debtors Request.
  • Set Clear, Measurable Goals.
  • Data Accuracy:
    Ensure 99% accuracy in data entry.
  • Data Entry Speed:
    Capturing of 10 routes per day.
  • Data Organization:
    Ensure all documents are properly filed.
  • Ensure Timely Reporting.
  • Providing Feedback weekly for all documents outstanding.

MEASURE

  • Deadlines, service levels and quality standards achieved.
  • POD tracker error reports.
  • Various SCM reports.
  • Responsible for stock handling in distribution and related controls.
  • Meet financial and cost saving project objectives as agreed to.
Educational Requirements
  • Matric or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in FMCG.
  • Previous inventory experience.
  • Retail experience;
    Media distribution.
  • Previous experience in managing SLAs and external contractors.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of distribution principles.
  • Knowledge of inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Retail Management.
  • Knowledge of operating systems/applications (SAP).
  • Basic knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages and applications (SAP, Syspro).
