Our client in the financial advisory and healthcare solutions industry based in Kloof, Durban is seeking a Medical Aid, Health Insurance and Gap Cover Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and client support to Advisors.
The role focuses on client relationship management, compliance administration, business processing, and supporting client retention and acquisition initiatives.
Requirements:
- Matric - Essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 3
-5 years' experience in a similar industry - Outlook and Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Share Point
- CRM systems
- Medical quoting systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and take full accountability
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Client Communication and Support
Provide clients with Medical Needs Analysis documents
Follow up with internal and external stakeholders
Schedule meetings and request required documentation
Attend to client queries professionally and efficiently
Assist clients with document completion and signing
Support advisor at client presentations and events
Liaise with finance regarding commissions and fees
Maintain a friendly, caring, and professional client approach
Administration and Compliance
Prepare quotations and advisor recommendations
Complete application and POPIA consent documentation
Obtain FICA and FAIS documentation and perform sanctions screening
Load and update new business applications
Maintain CRM and new business registers
Track new business, plan changes, renewals, and Record of Advice
Send confirmations of cover to clients
Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
Practice and Office Support
Monitor FAIS compliance requirements for health products
Keep CRM and SharePoint systems updated
Mentor junior assistants where required
Assist with reception duties on a rotational basis

Contribute to positive office morale
Performance and Development
Participate in KPI setting and performance reviews
Provide accurate performance reporting
Participate in training and development initiatives
Comply with all internal policies and procedures
