Inbound Controller​/Admin Clerk

A well-established company within the import and distribution sector is seeking a reliable Inbound Controller / Admin Clerk to support their import and logistics operations.

This is a junior, highly administrative role focused on documentation, tracking, capturing, and coordinating inbound container movements. The role would suit someone organised, accurate, and comfortable managing multiple tasks within a professional team environment.

• 🔹 Receive, review, and manage documentation related to import containers
• 🔹 Generate clearing instructions
• 🔹 Track vessel schedules and container movements
• 🔹 Maintain accurate tracking reports and records
• 🔹 Assist with weekly cold store planning
• 🔹 Costing schedules and checking transporter invoices
• 🔹 Capture order and stock information
• 🔹 Provide general administrative support to logistics and operations
• 🔹 Assist other departments on an ad hoc basis

• ✅ Matric (minimum requirement)
• ✅ 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative role
• ✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
• ✅ Computer literate and comfortable with data capturing
• ✅ Shipping / logistics experience advantageous but not essential
• ✅ Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• ✅ Professional, mature and adaptable
