We have an amazing opportunity for Junior Content Specialist to be based in our Umhlanga offices. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Content Specialists and Content Specialists in the day to day running of the Hollywoodbets Sports Blog and other sports blogs in the business. Creating engaging informative content based on both the business’ needs as well as what is trending or newsworthy in the wider sporting world.

You Bring:- 1-2 years’ experience in Content Marketing/Copywriting
- Qualification in Marketing or related
- Valid driver’s license
- Create compelling written sports content across several different websites and blogs.
- Proofreading and editing of internal as well as correspondence writers’ work.
- Reviewing, repackaging and publishing content produced by in-house departments and sister websites.
- Having a deep understanding of trends throughout the world across multiple sporting codes.
- Creating informative content highlighting new games and products released by the business.
- Created and manage an editorial calendar and ensure timeous publication of its contents.
- Keeping tabs on industry-related news/sports news to generate content around trending topics.
- Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Regular audits, both large and small.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced growing environment.
- Will be required to travel from time to time.
- Ability to think independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing.
- Knowledge and experience in working with Word Press’ Content Management System
- Comprehensive knowledge/understanding of various sporting codes relevant in South Africa – soccer, rugby, cricket, golf, horse racing, F1 etc.
- Portray good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to cope with many projects at any given time.
