JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER - HILLCREST Sales / Marketing / Communications
Upper Highway Area, Durban - Kwa Zulu Natal

Our client in the upper highway area has an exciting position for a Junior Graphic Designer.

Responsibilities:

Bringing the brief and concept to life based on the client's needs and vision

Ensure consistency of brand CI and creative across digital customer touch points

Developing concepts, graphics and layouts of product illustrations, web logos, social media graphics, banners, flyers, print ads, lead campaigns, and email templates

Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales

Ability to source images and backgrounds

Editing proofs to clients specifications and getting approval before finalizing artwork

Ensure all designs and assets are filed in their correct folders

Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed

Ensure projects are completed with and on schedule

Research and keep up to date with new design trends

Pitch unique ideas for design projects

REQUIREMENTS:

Adobe Creative Suit (Illustrator / InDesign / Photoshop)

Exceptional creativity and innovation

Self-motivated, proactive and driven

Has excellent time management skills and pays attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Has an understanding of the latest trends

Strong organizational and self-development ability

Can work in a pressurized and controlled environment independently and as part of a Team
