Expressive Arts College, is based in Umhlanga Durban, with hundreds of music students learning piano, guitar, drums and voice.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Music Teacher role based on-site in Durban. Responsibilities include teaching music instruments, facilitating music performance activities, and conducting piano or drums or guitar lessons. Additional responsibilities may include organizing performances and helping students develop a deeper appreciation for music.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and understanding of Music Theory and Music Education
- Skill in Music Performance and Piano instruction
- Experience in teaching music to diverse age groups
- Passion for music and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Education, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
