The business is looking for an experienced Financial Reconciliation Manager who can drive best-practice reconciliation processes, lead a high-performing team, and ensure the integrity of balance sheet accounts across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and review all balance sheet reconciliations across the group
  • Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and within strict monthly deadlines
  • Manage bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany, loan, interest, accrual, prepayment, suspense account, and fixed asset reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances, discrepancies, and outstanding items
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address recurring issues
  • Maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation, and automation initiatives across the finance function
  • Liaise with auditors and ensure audit queries are addressed efficiently
  • Review annual financial statements, tax computations, and related financial workings
  • Monitor financial controls, working capital accounts, and regulatory obligations
  • Collaborate with finance teams and operational stakeholders to improve reporting efficiency and financial governance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members while driving accountability and performance
Job Experience and

Skills Required:
  • Qualified CA(SA) is essential
  • Relevant Financial Degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Financial Management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar reconciliation, reporting, or financial control environment
  • Proven people management and leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
