• Provide leadership and oversight of compliance and governance functions.
• Ensure adherence to applicable financial services legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Monitor and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Identify, assess, and manage regulatory and compliance risks.
• Support business operations through effective governance and risk management practices.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.

• Must meet the Fit and Proper requirements applicable to the role.
• RE1, RE3, and RE5 certifications are required.
• Relevant FSCA regulatory examination certification is required.

• Minimum of six (6) years' relevant experience within the financial services sector.
• Proven experience in compliance, governance, risk management, or regulatory oversight.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior compliance or regulatory leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the South African financial services regulatory environment.
