Banqueting Supervisor

Our client is seeking a meticulous and customer-focused Banqueting Supervisor to lead their event service team in Durban . This role involves overseeing the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquets and other catered events, ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest. You will be responsible for guiding service staff, managing event timelines, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and presentation.

• Supervise and direct banqueting staff during event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure all event requirements, including room setup, catering, and special requests, are meticulously met.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to ensure clear understanding of event details and responsibilities.
• Monitor service quality and adherence to company standards throughout each event.
• Train and mentor new banqueting staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within banqueting , events, or hospitality services.
